On September 11, 2001 United States was attacked, hijacked airplanes hit the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon outside Washington. This horrific attack on our freedom destroyed two buildings called the Twin Towers in New York City killing innocent people. When you look at the picture ?9-11 Terror in America? you see what?s left from the aftermath of the assault on our freedom. Two tall buildings were destroyed, people were killed and many things were changed since that day. First, 9/11 was tremendous day in which many people died and many more hurt. Second, security was a huge issue around the world since that day. Last but not least, Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda the terrorist group bear responsibility for the attack and that?s not everything they have planned for the United States.

The picture ?9/11 Terror in America? has a good view on what was left after the two buildings collapsed.

Dust all over the city, people looking for the loved ones, firefighters trying to find survivors underneath the ruins of the towers. The picture shows parts of the building still standing, the day in New York was grim, people did not know who survived and who was buried underneath the buildings. This sad picture also shows the street intersection where lights are still standing. Dust, fumes smoke were in the air, ashes from burned furniture, cars that were smashed and burned from this huge explosion. South and North towers one after the other were falling on the street of New York. Rescue teams, firefighters, paramedics, police officers and volunteers were helping each other to save lives, recovering bodies from the twisted remnants of the Twin Towers.

That day of the attack, the entire world was shocked. No one was expecting that terrorists attack.
