Imagine someone telling you that you are not quite good enough or you are not useful. Now picture almost the entire world telling you this. This is how Jennifer Lawrence felt when she first became a celebrity. Jennifer Lawrence is a strong, confident actress who constantly gets insulted by Hollywood critics because they believe she is not "skinny" enough. Jennifer cannot stand it when people are not confident in their own skin. Celebrities have a moral responsibility to society because our culture not only looks up to these famous individuals, but they also yearn to be like them. Nevertheless, Jennifer Lawrence continues to show courage and confidence even though many critics do not think she measures up to the Hollywood standards.

Jennifer Lawrence is a great role model because she does not care what people think of her. While many Hollywood celebrities fall prey to the press, and have eating disorders, Jennifer Lawrence does not.

Jennifer will, " be the only actress who doesn't have anorexia rumors," (www.yourtango.com) because she is sure of herself and happy in her own skin. Jennifer is a great role model for girls. She does not, "want little girls to be like, Oh I want to look like Katniss so I'm going to skip dinner." (www.yourtango.com) and she believes that everyone should have faith in themselves. In one of Jennifer's latest movies, "The Hunger Games", she plays an active young girl named Katniss. Many girls aspire to be just like Katniss. "Lawrence didn't want to be a starved moniker for young girls everywhere." (www.yourtango.com) so she made sure her confidence showed in her curvy, not stick thin body. This is one of the reasons Jennifer Lawrence is a great role model.
