Addiction to computers
Computers play a very vital role in all walks of our life. They have their master hands in all fields. It has lessened the burdens of hectic manual calculations, repetitive tasks and handling of huge tiresome databases. Furthermore, their fast processing speed and varied uses have just dragged all our attention and attraction toward them. But the question today is, whether man will become a mere slave of the machine which he himself invented?
Many people have become very much addicted to computers. Will they reach a limit where they cannot exist without computers? Will manual calculations become an unimaginable one without computers? Will the cashier blink to calculate 67+49 =? without this machine?
Another important point is many youngsters today are addicted to computer games. They keep their eyes glued to the computer screen playing 3D games for hours together. Many people spend valuable hours chatting, browsing and wandering in the cyberspace without reaping anything good.
The habits of reading, outdoor and indoor playing, physical activities are reducing gradually because of computers. This will lead to poor health and many ergonomical problems.
Good start
This essay raises many good questions. It's very well written for a seventh grade essay, and could easily be expanded upon.
