Task 1- Introduction

Alcohol has a great impact on many people's lives because it contains chemicals that affect your mind and body. If you were addicted to alcohol then your lifestyle would be greatly affected. There are many risks to your lifestyle such as your social life, body and mind. Risks such as separation or divorce from relationships, social alienation or financial difficulties would affect your lifestyle. Your body and mind could be at risk of damages to your brain. It is most likely that you will end up with several diseases which would have been a result of drinking large amounts of alcohol which affect your organs.

Task 2- Consequences

Many consequences of having an alcohol addiction can occur in the four health dimensions: social, physical, emotional and spiritual.

It can lead to you having mood swings where you get impatient with loved ones, become violent and abuse your family and become irritable. It is also possible that you start to skip work which may cause you to lose your job. This could lead to having no money for your family which could increase family tension. This could mean your emotional and social relationships with family and friends will be destroyed. Drinking heavily can also poison your organs. Long-term serious physical conditions of alcohol poisoning can include Alcoholic Hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, cancers, heart disease, neurological damage, liver disease, high blood pressure, stroke and other damages like gastritis or pancreatitis. Physical risks to your body that could result in damage to brain (mind) are: difficulty walking, blurred vision, slurred speech,
