The Ark of the Covenant

"... And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." These are God's words to Moses at the top of Mt. Sinai. The sanctuary that is built for God is the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark is considered to be one of the most powerful and sacred items in history. In order to know why it is considered this, you need to have some background information about the Ark. The Ark of the Covenant has an extensive history and is also alluded to in the song "Searching" by Deep Roll, in the painting Moses and the Ark of the Covenant by an unknown artist, and in the movie Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.
