I. Introduction

Edgar Allan Poe was one of the most important dark romantic writers of 19th century and general topic of his short stories and poems was the dark side of the life. In his short story The Masque of the Red Death, he tells about the inevitable end of life, death.

In a fictional country, a disease known as the Red Death starts to kill everybody with a brutal and quick way. So the prince of the country, Prospero, decides to hide in order to get away from plague and locks his palace's gates while his people die. After several months, he throws a masked ball with important quests. For his masked ball, he decorates seven room with seven different colors. The easternmost room's color is blue with blue-stained windows and the room next of its color is purple with purple-stained windows. The rooms go on westward in the following colors, green, orange, white and violet. Finally, seventh room is black with red-stained windows. There is also a clock. When the clock rings, everybody in the palace stops talking and even orchestra stops playing. At midnight, an uninvited guest comes...
