Thanks to the animal experiments, there have been great advances in our medical information and we have achieved a high standard of health. When the advantages provided taken into account, the benefits of testing animals do not compensate suffering or death of animals. I am in the opinion that animals testing are stopped in terms of animal slaughter, the sales of cosmetics products, incorrect experiment's results.

I am not interested to know whether vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. The pain which it inflicts upon nonconsenting animals is the basis of my enmity toward it, and it is to me sufficient justification of the enmity without looking further. When I read these words by Mark Twain, I really affected and agreed with the thought about slaughter of animals for the sake of scientific experiments. Many scientists in different disciplines, for a variety of purposes, use animals in their experiments.

Mice in Research for Animal Testing

Animals are also used in medicine and science education. For instance, medical students are trying their surgery operation on animals before try on people. In this process, in order to teach the students how to heal injuries, how to repair fractures, etc animals -mostly dogs, monkeys, rabbits and mice-are deliberately harmed. In these processes even animals are killed. In ministry of health's statics it is seen that the number of animals used in experiments is significantly increased. Although most people do not realize that experiments damage and kill animals, there are many modern and innovative methods applied animals without damage. And it has become a standard in many universities.
