This was no ordinary day for Zac Green. Zac is an artist, he paints in his home based studio in London and this was his big break. As today he was going to meet the director of the biggest art gallery in Paris.

He had come from London the day before and taken the Eurostar all the way to Paris. Zac, being a man of free will didn’t want to be carted around Paris on a bus or train with all the other ordinary tourists. He says that if he sees an outstanding piece of scenery he just wants to be able to stop and if he has time paint it or capture the moment on his camera and take it back to his studio. So he decided to hire a car. After he had arrived he took the car out for a drive to see some of the sights, Zac isn’t one for wasting time.

He went to see the Arc de Triumph; he was absorbed by the sheer detail that had gone into the building. Stone gargoyles and turrets that just blew him away. Of course he had to go to the Eiffel Tower. From the top you could capture most of the Paris landscape even the outer suburbs. This gave him a new idea for a painting, but not now, not on this visit.

It was five minutes before the meeting with the head of the art gallery. He was so nervous because this deal could make or break him as an artist. But unfortunately at a young age he became addicted to cigarettes, because of his nervousness he got a sudden craving and had to stop at the local gas station to pick some up.
