We will never be able to know full effects of prejudice. I think it affects to everyone, even if it occurs at a subconscious level. my family and I will be the first to admit that I am prejudice. I judge people daily by how they dress, speech, talk, and look. Prejudice has an impact a lot to everyone even psychological. I believe prejudice can be lessened, but I will never be eliminated
For me, prejudice can have a wide range of implications on the person to who it is directed at. I think that lots of time we don't see the prejudice effect immediately, but they show up later on in person life. An example of prejudice would be Asian person who grows up in a white community. Through out his life, he is made fun of because he acts "white". This kid could always trouble or lonely, because his Asian friends hate him for acting white, and his white friend are subconsciously prejudice against him simply because he is Asian.
This is tough situation, and is extremely true in the lives of a lot of kids.
How to know the persons Prejudice? The person displaying the prejudice shows the ignorance of another person. Most kids get their prejudice roots from their parent when they grow up. It can come from a tons of different situations where the parent makes a comment, joke, teach, or about certain group etc. that being said, it's not an excuse for the person to be racist against race, skin, entire group, be it ethnic, social, or any situation.
