This report will be focusing on three different retailer customers' services and what happens before, during and after a sale.

Customer service

Customer service is the service provided to customers before, during and after purchasing and using goods and services. Good customer service provides an experience that meets customer expectations.

Explanation about the Retailer

According to, Benson is a leading multi-facetted IT Solutions Company in Tanzania. The company was founded in 1990 as a retailer in computer and peripheral trading in Arusha as part of shareholders belief in diversification by expansion. The birth of Sound and Vision Ltd was a corollary of success achieved by its founders in their initial firm - Benson and Company Ltd.

First Direct is a division of the HSBC Bank. It provides a range of banking services, offering customers products such as current accounts, credit cards, savings accounts, insurance and loans. However, First Direct does not have a physical branch network.

Since founded by Sam Walton in 1962, Wal-Mart today stands as one of the world largest retailer. Wal-Mart was first established in the USA and now has 8,500 stores in 15 countries, under 55 different names like Walmax, Asda, Seiyu and Best price. Wal-Mart is known globally for it low pricing strategy

Before sale

Does the Store provide customer phone, toilets, banking machines, trolleys or children play area and rides?

Benson does not provide any customer phone, toilets, trolleys, cafes, and children's rides and play areas.

First Direct is an online bank therefore it doesn't offer customer phone, toilets, trolleys or children play area. However, this online bank have a few banking machines for customer to easily redrew money.
