Australia is the richest country in the world. The richness of a country is measured by the eyes of the beholder. You cannot measure the richness of a country in money as money is worthless if you can not live happily. Price tagging the quality of air or the friendliness of a culture is impossible, as you cannot but it. Australians are rich in their cultural diversity, its ongoing achievers and the environment witch is nothing like anything in the world. This is the richness that Australia has that makes this country a world leader.

Today in Australia, out of a total population of just over 20 million people, well over 20% of Australians were born in another country. Of there more then half came to Australia from a non English speaking country in Europe, Asia, Middle east, South America and Africa. Although less then 20%of school children currently study another language besides English, the government of Australia has taken a major step in promoting and developing these cultural resources in Australia.

This cultural diversity that Australia has provides access through cultural networks to other countries witch strengthens our economy, it also depends our understanding of cultural networks and places us in a unique position to resolve world conflicts. Australia's History has made Australia a culturally rich country that is admired by the world over.

Australia occupies one of the oldest, flattest, driest landmasses in the world. Yet its isolation for over 55 million years has created a sanctuary for animals and plants found nowhere else in the world For example there is no animal in the world that can relate to the platypus.
