In the Book Blink the priming experiments were a group of word sets, forty two fairly demanding questions from the board game Trivial Pursuit , and students were asked to identify their race on a pretest questionnaire. Priming is an example of how much goes on behind the locked door of our unconscious. These experiments suggest that we think of as free will is largely an illusion much of the time, we are simply operating on automatic pilot.

In the speed dating experiment there was a group of men and women who have six minutes to meet each other and determine if they wanted to see the person ever again. In this experiment there was a girl named Mary that said she was looking for a person sincere and smart but ended up attracted to something that was at the moment. This experiments we can't explain what's locked behind the locked door.
