Breast Cancer

Cancer is an epidemic that has been infecting the lives of many people throughout the world. It is a disease of cell division where the cell looses the ability to stop dividing. Cancer can also be referred as mutations in genes that regulate cell division/cell cycle. It can be very harmful, even fatal, to the person who is diagnosed with it. There are many different types of cancer since it can affect almost any part of the body. One type of cancer is breast cancer. Breast cancer is a disease in which cancerous cells form in the tissues of the breast. It is a malignant tumor that starts in the breast's cells. A malignant tumor is a group of cancer cells that can invade surrounding tissues or spread to other parts of the body. Typically, it is women who are diagnosed with breast cancer, but men can get it, too.

However, it is extremely rare for men to have breast cancer.
