I have found that I use three types of intelligences when learning. They are bodily/kinesthetic, musical/rhythmic, and intrapersonal. (Ellis P.47-49)
I use bodily/kinesthetic intelligence when learning and studying in multiple ways. I tend not to sit still for long periods of time. I enjoy working with my hands. I love hands on projects. I always have to have something in my hands while in class. I play with my pencil or pen while in class. I use a lot of hand gestures when I talk. Flash cards usually help me learn new vocabulary words. I like to create games to help me study. The best possible career for me that uses this type of intelligence is a massage therapist. I use musical/rhythmic intelligence in so many ways. I often sing in the shower and the car. I always listen to music when in the shower or doing homework.

I feel most engaged and productive when music is playing. When studying I listen to music. I don't know how to play a musical instrument but I would love to learn how to. (Ellis P.49)
I use intrapersonal intelligence the most. I enjoy being alone with my thoughts. I think a lot what I want in the future. I prefer working by myself over working in a group. I take time to think things through before talking or taking action. I study a topic alone before attending a study group. The best possible career for me that uses this type of intelligence is a counseling psychologist. I am in fact a psychology major. (Ellis P. 49)
