Usually when I tell someone that I work at Kentucky Fried Chicken I get the same reaction: "Why do you work at KFC?" "I wouldn't be caught dead working fast food." I always tell them I love my job and wouldn't work anywhere else. I love my coworkers, my schedule, and the interaction with the customers.
My first day of work was nerve-racking. I was so scared. I didn't know anyone except for my uncle, the manager. After five minutes though I knew I would fit right in. Everyone treated me as if I had been there my whole life and like I was their best friend. I did make a lot of friendships there that will last a lifetime. I've seen marriages happen and babies being born to my friends. Things I would have never witnessed if I didn't work there. Everyone takes their load of work and helps out everyone else.

The scheduling at Kentucky Fried Chicken is wonderful. I am a full time student and my classes change every two months. I don't worry about it though because all I have to do is tell the manager when I can and cannot work and it is no problem. He works around my schedule. Also, whenever I feel that my work load is to much to handle and I just need a break, all I have to do is ask for a few days off, no questions asked.
Lastly, I love meeting a variety of people. Some of the customers that come in are so great. We get people from all around the United States and Canada. I love meeting Carroll 2 people from other states. They share with me what the menu's are for other KFC's in their...
