Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

This classic book is called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The creative author that has written this book is named Roald Dahl. This author originally made this books genre fiction. However, since it has been around so long and many people enjoyed and read it, it is now considered a classic.

Charlie Bucket lives in a cottage in a normal town with pedestrian people. He lives with his father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, great grandfather, and his great grandmother. All four seniors stay in a bed and have not left the bed for twenty years. Charlie is very poor compared to the kids at school. In fact, his family is starving. One day Charlie heard that Mr. Willy Wonka made a contest, where there are five golden tickets hidden under five Wonka bars throughout the world. All five people found golden tickets, so then Charlie gives up hope.

Later on, he read in the newspaper that the last one was a phony. That means there was one golden ticket left. Charlie obviously wanted it but there was no hope. Then when he was walking back from school, Charlie saw something green on the ground. It was a dollar! He then ran to the candy store and bought two Wonka bars. Two Wonka's Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight. He ate the first one less then a minute. As he opened the second one, he saw something. It was glittery and.....gold? It was a golden ticket! Charlie ran home and told his folks the news. The ticket said that he was able to bring one or two of his family members. Charlie chose Grandpa Joe because nobody else wanted to go.
