I think that "The Sermon on the Mount" is ethically and biblically significant. I also think that it is very important in portraying insight into the teaching of the moral teaching of the man Jesus from the Christianity religion. I also think that the purpose of The Sermon on the Mount by Jesus was meant to tell people how to interact and love one another. I also think threw these teaching it was meant to help bring peace, harmony, and unite mankind. I think that it is important and valuable for the people of today and can benefit from the teaching by Jesus in The Sermon on the mount by Van Voorst. I think that it is practical and ethical and can also be applied to modern day teachings in The Sermon on the Mount when Van Voorst quotes Jesus, "You shall not commit adultery." But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart." I think that some people refer to this passage as when a person looks at another person and undresses them with their eyes they are committing lust.

I also think that this relates and can be interpreted as to if you put your woman away then you divorce her but you does not mean that you are or will be doomed. I think that there are times that people need to get away from one another or take a break. The difference is that morally divorce should be on good terms not necessarily perceived as negative. For instance I happen to know a man who married a woman and she bore a girl when he wanted to have a boy and because of this prefer ability he divorced her. I do not...
