Just what are some changes of life for people in New York-and nation wide because of this terrorism? Thousands who did survive cannot go to work- no place to work-others in nearby buildings and shops hotels cannot go to work -maybe for weeks months or years ahead - no jobs, no income at all.
Many in New York lived nearby- have been moved out of their homes -cant go back- homes are too unsafe to be lived in. Many of these are old people -no place to go - no families or relatives - what will they do for weeks and months ahead ? Just think of the back lash of just closing airports for 5 or more days . there are literally thousands of airports in the U.S. plus in hundreds of other countries we fly to so it affects many thousands of airports and pilots flight attendance grounds crews airport maintenanence ( janitors, window washers, garbage men) those who work in all the little shops in the airport, ( gifts, news stand , food shops) taxi drivers parking attendants , baggage handlers, mailmen whose mail and packages cant go out ,U.P.S,

United StatesFederal Express, other parcel servaces, car rentals ,- the list goes on and on - and remember- this is not only for airports and thier personal in N.Y and wash, D.C- but for the thousands and thousands of airports nation wide so it has and will affect literally millions of people job wise- or economicaly. Thousands of schools were closed- yes teachers will still get their pay but what about the thousaands especally in large city schools who work hourly jobs teacher associates food services workers---------No school, no job, no pay.
So millions of people throughout the US spent 4-6 days this past week and many will spend more time with no jobs---NO INCOME.
Just think how it would be if your parents and other workers were to be put out of work for several days, some for several weeks, and some maybe months. How many changes would your family have to make.
AND ALL THIS IS JUST PERTAINING TO INCOME TO KEEP FAMILIES GOING--WHAT ABOUT HOW IT HAS AND WILL AFFECT INDIVIDUALS EMOTIONALLY: FEAR,SADNESS,ANGER,KSLEEPLESSNESS,ANXIETY,DEPRESSION.
What good has it done for you here in the CMB school district, the state of Iowa, and for the nation? Braught families together, more talking to each other about it, more prayers, more pride in America, more attention to news broadcasts than MTV.
Parking ramps, yankee & Shea stadiums (used for park & ride workers going into New York to work)- Many, many cars still there last Tuesday-never will be picked up by their owners ---DEAD
