As a Community Relations intern with the Rangers my responsibilities include answering all incoming calls in a professional manner and answering and taking messages for my bosses and any other vice president. I am also responsible for making a calendar for my bosses which needs to be on their desk by early Friday morning. I am also responsible for donation request, Eagle Scout letters, thank you letters, fan mail (current players and coaches) and alumni mail. Donations need to be filed in the excel database and then if organization request is fulfilled then we send an autograph item to that organization. If donation request is not fulfilled we send a thank you letter on why we could not accept them.

My relationship with my supervisors and co-workers is not only great but helpful. When I come into work every morning I go to one of my managers to see what I need to do for the day.

After I get what I need to do, I work diligently until I accomplish my task no matter how long it takes. If I get stuck with anything I ask the other interns if they know how to it. If not I go to my managers who are also willing to help me out no matter how big or small the project is. If I have nothing to do I see if anybody needs any help with their work or ask my bosses if there is anything that needs to be done. By asking my bosses for more work to do it gives my bosses confidence in me in that they can rely and trust me. By the end of the week while others are struggling to get stuff done, I can sit back and relax.
