Marijuana and alcohol can be compared and contrasted in various ways, they are both commonly used by teens, and both drugs can become addictive. These two drugs are used for medical purposes in special situations, but they also can be life destroying.
Marijuana is the most popular illegal drug in the country. An average of 65 to 70 million American's currently smoke the drug. Marijuana is a mixture of leaves, stems, and flowering tops of the Indian plant Cannabis Sativa. This drug is commonly abused by today's youth. It is a very popular drug for teens because it gives them a sense of relaxation. Often at parties, youth are getting high because they think it is cool. This is an excuse for youth to have fun, and when they are high time or place is not a problem. They do not really care where they are or what kind of people they are around all because they are under the influence of marijuana.

If I had to choose between the two, I would walk away and choose some serious rehabilitation. Pretty good essay. It was detailed, precise and very informative. I believe that alcohol is just as harmful as marijuana. Not only is it addictive as well...it's easier to obtain than the latter.
