Overview The intention of this analysis is to gain an understanding of the different environments affecting CR McMullen. CR McMullen is located in San Marcos, California. They are a distributing company that sells to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and the Veteran's Canteen Service. Started as a family owned business CR McMullen has grown into a marketing influence of sales in the military. Denny Clark, Steven Foster and Robert Jury are the driving force behind this company. CR McMullen distributes a wide variety of products ranging from computer accessories, car stereo equipment, video games and blank recording tape and CD's.

External Environment Eco-Environment Southern California has many different seasons to deal with. All of these affect the way customers buy product. Most of the year weather is typically seventy degrees and sunny. During the winter month's heavy rains occur along with very short periods of cold temperatures. El Nino's, La Nina and earthquakes also have been present to cause Eco-Environmental affects.

General Environment Political Legal Dimension Federal and State laws and regulations are extremely important to the consumer electronics industry and distribution industry. NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement will remove most barriers to trade and investment among the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Also on December 8, 1994, President Clinton signed the "Uruguay Round Agreements Act" (URAA). The URAA implements the Uruguay Round General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), which includes an agreement on the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property.
