The Microtest DiscZerver Cyclone To mount a New CD on the Mictotest DiscZerver please do the following.

1. Go to the CD server and place the CD in one of the bays.

2. Go to a PC and open an Internet browser, any will do, in my example I will use the Microsoft Internet explorer.

3. After the Internet explorer is up and running, click on the address section, in the address section type the IP address 10.1.1.8 or http://10.1.1.8 will also work.

4. You should now be looking at the DiscZerver's default screen. At the top of the page is an icon labeled Administrator, click on this icon.

5. You will now be asked to enter a user name and password. The user name is: Admin The password is : ( the network password ) 6. Click on the Administration Icon on the top of the page.

7. The administration utilities will now show up, and you will be in the device section.

The devices shown are all of the CD-ROM bays in the tower. Scroll down the devices to the one containing your CD. Click on the create image tool bar.

8. The administration utility will now put you in the Image Log. The Image Creation Queue will show how much of the CD has been copied to the DiscZerver.

9. When the CD is completely copied to DiscZerver the CD will be ejected. Refresh the screen, and check the image creation log to confirm that a successful image was created.

10. The DiscZerver will eject the CD, and have it waiting for you to retreve.

To update an Existing CD to move to newer version of an existing CD or to delete a CD on the Mictotest DiscZerver please do the following.

1. Click on Devices under Administrative Utilities 2. At the bottom of the page under Storage Devices click on the Maxtor 9 hard drive.

3. Now move down the column under Delete (the little white boxes) and mark the CD or CD's you wish to replace.

4. Move down to the bottom of the page and click on the Delete Selected Image tool bar.

5. Click on Administration you should see the Device section. The devices shown are all of the CD-ROM bays in the tower. Scroll down the devices to the one containing your CD. Click on the create image tool bar.

6. The administration utility will now put you in the Image Log. The Image Creation Queue will show how much of the CD has been copied to the DiscZerver.
