Syria

The conflict in Syria and the war that has raged between the Syrian government and the Syrians is a conflict that did not happened over night but, through the use of social media, we have been able to follow the story as it pertains to the U.S. and our Government's response, from start to fruition. The current civil unrest did not materialize over a few words of disagreement between two political parties. In fact, we have seen these problems in Syria escalate from words to death and now the threat of possible armed warfare retaliation from the U.S. , and all of this, played out on social media. The issues afflicting Syria have turned deadly and are consistently fueled with violence. They are armed with their conviction to obtain Democracy with rights for all and are sharing the ramifications of this through social media platforms.

They want action from the U.S. and they want it immediately. In turn, the citizens of the U.S. want justice but are reminded at the costs associated with our actions. The costs would consist of funding the necessary actions, going against NATO and the loss of lives of our military. The injustice in Syria is being played out for the world to see and has been the driving force for the U.S. government to take action against the Syrian regime. We are seeing firsthand the devastation resulting in massive deaths, through the use of chemicals and demanding that something be done. This demand for action must first be thought through completely. We must make sure that we are able to justify our actions and that we stand by our decisions because we...
