Why it’s not Smart to do DrugsDrugs. How many times have we heard that word? Whenever we hear that word, the words ‘are bad’ tag along. We always sigh, we know! B-o-r-i-n-g. I mean we heard it before. But many of us never knew the details of why they are bad. When people say that drugs are bad they aren’t kidding. They say the word “drugs”, though they mean illegal drugs. Drugs can be legal. However illegal drugs are, of course, illegal. There’s a reason for it being illegal, like there is for everything. There are a number of illegal drugs, giving the most known: marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, LSD, and heroin. They can cause a number of problems such as damage to the brain, heart, and other important organs. Cocaine for example, can cause a heart attack, even at a young age. While using drugs, a person is also less able to do well in school, sports, and other activities.

It's often harder to think clearly and make good decisions. People can do dumb or dangerous things that could hurt themselves or other people when they use drugs.

Well first of all, what do drugs do to our body? When drugs are injected or put into your body by any method, they make their way into your bloodstream and are transported to different parts of your body, such as your brain. In your brain the drugs can alter your senses, making them dull and making the physical pain less, but eventually they harm your body. They can cause headaches, cramps, shaking and other effects such as sweating, sleeplessness and confusion. Different drugs do different things to your body. Amphetamines raise your heart rate and blood pressure also causing sweating, shaking, headaches, sleeplessness, and blurred vision. In prolonged use, they can...
