Research and identify three commercial forensic tools currently on the market. Write a 2-3 page paper that compares the functions of the forensic analyst that these tools can deal with. The paper should be written using the APA writing style. Include screen shots of either the application or other material (such as graphics found in the application's documentation) that show the functionality you are trying to describe and that demonstrate that you carefully reviewed the tool.

Computer forensic investigator's tools are special tools used for research on Computer Crime Investigations Forensics.

Those tools differ from the regular meaning we have about tools. They vary in nature and effect to suit the nature of computer crimes. A tool used for a physical object; such as a hammer or saw, suit the physical nature of nails and wood. Unlike regular familiar tools, computer crimes investigation tools have to deal with the virtual environment of the computer and internet crime.

In today's digital age the crime scene has a new component; In order to use these tools, you need to know how to use them. In many cases evidence gathered from computers and computer networks has been the key to criminal investigations. Computer forensics involves the identification, preservation, extraction, documentation and interpretation of this digital evidence.
