The aim of English grammar teaching should be to practice the major points. The teacher must give response to advanced learners who are suffering from the grammar questions on the KPDS even though they know the basic rules of English grammar well. However they need a consolidation by practicing more questions and getting the knowledge of how to approach the KPDSgrammar questions.
The grammar points selected by the teacher should help the learner to progress his or her ability to recognize the patterns which sometimes can be forgotten easily in time. With the help of the teacher the learners must get the meaning and the usage of the grammar point easily and with no doubt understand it meaningfully. The teacher should urge the learner to read newspapers and magazines due to the fact that the grammar points included in these sources can help the learner not to forget them easily.
