Some positive impacts that Europeans had on Native Americans was the introduction of wheat, sugar, rice, and coffee. They also introduced horses, cows, and pigs. The introduction of horses to the Native Americans helped greatly with their hunting. Some negative impacts are diseases like smallpox, measles, and bubonic plague. Another negative impact was slave labor. The diseases wiped out 90% of the Native American Population in a matter of a century.

The greatest impact of America on Europe, Asia and Africa was the spread of American food crops. The crops include maize, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, peanuts, manioc, peppers, most beans, and squash to Europe. All of these were unknown in the Eastern Hemisphere before 1492. The growth of population and industrialization in Northern Europe could not have happened as they did without the increased nourishment provided by the potato. They also unwittingly brought the disease

Syphilis.

The Europeans gained far more than they lost in their exchange with the Native Americans. The Native Americans lost many aspects of their cultures and lost a lot of land.

I think it's a good thing the Europeans' culture prevailed. If the Native Americans prevailed there would be no United States of America. We wouldn't be living the comfortable lives we have today. Our technologies, government, and intelligence make us, the USA, the most powerful country in our world today. I feel if the Native Americans would have prevailed, our civilizations would be much less advanced then they currently are.
