Hatred. A word or an action? Hatred is a very controversial issue that is seen everywhere throughout the world. It is just a word but sometimes it has a lot more meaning that its dictionary definition. Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary defines hate as extreme dislike or antipathy. This definition is true to a point. It does have to do with extreme dislike but sometimes people say it without thinking of what hate really means.

Sometimes people use this word or words just like it in there everyday conversations. These people believe that other people do not care when in reality they are very offended by the use of these words. The ignorant people that use these words do not recognize that other people around them may perceive the word as extreme dislike. This can lead to many problems from small arguments to wars between countries. The real problem is that hatred is not easy to forget; hatred is something that people remember forever.

If people would be more careful when saying this word or if they did not say it at all it would make a difference. It would not make a huge difference but sometimes it is the small stuff that people see. This is not a word that should be used in everyday speech and it can be very hurtful to some people if used as it is supposed to be.
