Counter-Strike is a first-person shooter video game developed by Valve Corporation. It was initially developed and released as a Half-Life modification by Minh "Gooseman" Le and Jess "Cliffe" Cliffe in 1999 . By the appeal of CS-lovers , Counter-Strike was first released as Counter-Strike Beta 1.0 by Valve on the Microsoft Windowsplatform in 2000 .[1][2][3]

Except the beta versions ,which official version should be used for official matches had been a problem and argument between CS:Source released and CS:Global Offensive. The major debate ,that is : A lot of players is from CS1.6 and they did not want Valve change the certain game version as CS:Source for official matches .But this problem was solved since CS: Global Offensive released . Both players , CS1.6 players and CS:Source players both accept this version of CS .
