Our term paper is concerned with the issue "George Washington". At first we would like to give a detailed review about the person George Washington and illustrate what kind of person he was and what he did.
After this we we will expound George Washinton's role in the French and Indian War and therefore we survey his military career.
Afterwards we would like to give a summary of the Independece War and what George Washington's figure was in this war.
Then we would like to mention the most important part of George Washington's life -the presidency- more precise.
Our term paper ends with a little funny fact about George Washington.
Who was George Washington ?
George Washington, the first son of Augustine Washington and his second wife, Mary Ball Washington, was born on February 22, 1732, on a manor called Wakefield in Westmoreland County, Virginia. He was educated by well-known and erudite gentlemen. His education also contained to acquire skills in mathematics, old languages and ethical values. George Washington formed a very strong and persuading kind of writing and speech. In his freetime he often liked to do sport activities and social dedication.
After his fathers death in 1743 George lived together with his half brother Lawrence in Mount Vernon, who became something like a father for his brother. Lawrence had a marriage with a daughter of the Fairfax family, a highly esteemed and very influential family from Virginia.
