Everything Will Eventually Fall Ian Malcom, one of the most famous mathematicians who is openly interested in "how the real world works" believes and works with the chaos theory, which states that everything will eventually fall and lose control. In Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton, John Hammond a billionaire developed "the most advanced amusement park in the world" by cloning the latest in electronic and biological technologies. He contracts a scientist who cloned and created life forms. In addition, Crichton imperils the characters in risky situations to demonstrate why people should believe in the chaos theory, when genetically cloning dinosaurs because the scientists are unable to predict the control of living organisms when they know they cannot manipulate wild animals that were extinct and have no backgroud understanding about the species. Crichton reveals the characters completely to his reader to show conflicts of cover up, denial, lies vs. truth, reality, and discovery, intermits order vs.

chaos, and demonstrates old vs. new.

As a result, Ian Malcom's theory makes sense when the amusement park loses control. For example, when Ed Regis takes the construction worker to the hospital and explains to Dr. Carter, the worker was injured in a construction accident then Dr.Carter asked Regis what had happened to him? Regis responded, "construction accident, he fell.

One of the backhoes ran over him"(3). Ed Regis implicates the island lost control because one construction worker got injured and a lie was used to explain the incident when everything was in good conditions. It also shows the lost of control because a construction worker was injured when in a safe environment. Another example, of losing is when the Bowman family goes to the beach, their daughter Tina goes off by herself when she sees a lizard emerge from the mangrove roots she notices that the lizard left three toed tracks, it was one foot tall, dark green with brown stripes along its back and then the lizard scrambled up her arm toward her face, and her parents "heard their daughter's voice. She was screaming "(15). The island lost control because these strange looking raptors are escaping and attacking innocent people, which would lead to uncontrollable animals in an island because no one is going to be taking her of them while they are attacking the innocent newborn babies. They lost control because without knowing the animals are escaping and destroying human beings in which the park will fall and lose control of the animals. Another example, is when Elena Morales was on the watch out of newborn babies she heard a chirping sound and went into the room to see "one lizard bent down and, with a quick shake of its head tore a ragged chunk of flesh from the baby"(26). The chaos theory demonstrates the downfall of control because the animals cannot be controlled and are attacking infants producing terror to the mothers who are overprotected of their babies. Also scientists do not have the ability to control the dinosaurs because they cannot control the animals' organisms since they control their own movements. All of the attacks are based on the chaos theory because the amusement park has come to a downfall when the animals are no longer in control and are free injuring innocent people.

In addition, the chaos theory brings up the idea of order vs. chaos. For example, when Tina was happily sitting under the tree, when suddenly a lizard approached her and attacked her and then she felt "her whole left arm was bloody, covered with a profusion of small bites, each the size of a thumbprint. And there were flecks of sticky foam on her arm, like a foamy saliva"(15). It shows order vs. chaos because Tina was enjoying and playing when suddenly everything turned into confusion, creating a downfall. It also became chaos because the amusement park fell apart and lost control its creation when everyone is used to having everything in order. Another example, is when Dr. Gutierrez examines the lizard that bitted Tina he explains, "I myself haven't seen bites like that before "(16). This shows chaos because the lizard is build up to be a simple specie and then it develops to a complex animal because they are attacking human beings and learning the new ways to attack and defend themselves. Also the evolution of the lizard is coming off control because many people are not aware of how evolution makes them change dramatically. Another example, is when Grant, Ellie, Malcom, and Tim go and have a look at the velociraptors getting really close to the fence when suddenly the animals snarled as they came forward, and then leapt bodily into the air, raising their hind legs with their big dagger -claws, throwing off twin bursts of hot sparks"(17). This demonstrates chaos because the animals start to attack and create disorder to the visitors.

Also it provokes confusion because the visitors never expected on attack from an animal that is in control by the park. The confusion and disorder is the connection to chaos theory because the disorder of natural things brought the downfall of the island.

Therefore, the chaos theory provokes can bring the downfall of the island because of old vs. new versions of dinosaurs are expanding their intelligence. For example, when Gennaro was explaining to the visitors about Tina's attack from the lizard he says "there were reports of lizards biting infants in their cribs-and also, I might add, biting old people who were sleeping soundly "(88). The old versions are used to dealing with themselves and the new versions are now living together with humans and because of that they are destroying people's peace. Also the new versions are smarter and know the weak are infants and the elderly because they can't protect themselves. Another example, when Nedry is on the road to deliver the fifteen species he is confronted by the dinosaur and then" the dinosaur had spit on him. Nedry opened the car door, glancing back at the dinosaur to make sure it wasn't going to attack, and felt a sudden, excruciating pain in his eyes, stabbing like spikes into the back of his skull"(196). The new versions of dinosaurs are more smarter because they attack them. It also demonstrates that they are intelligent because they know where to hit them not like the old versions where they had no weapon to protect themselves with since they never had to since they lived by themselves. Another example, is when Gennaro and Muldoon go in search for the tyrannosaur and they start talking about the dinosaurs when Muldoon said" some dinos are tame and cute, and some are mean and nasty, some of them see well, and some of them don't, some are stupid, and some of them are very, very intelligent"(290).

Muldoon is being honest and is saying that some animals are smart because some use heir intelligence and the old version did not because they did not have to. Also he says some animals are mean because if they are smarter they are going to destroy the island when the visitors are going to come. The new and old versions of dinosaurs create the downfall and destruction of the island since they know the humans' weak spots.

Crichton, is establishing a grotesque environment to represent the island, allowing Malcom to inform all the dimensions of the chaos theory, from the characters to the environment. The theory proves that the island is eventually falling and losing control. The attacks are based on the fact that the amusement park came to disorder because it is taking it on innocent people who don't know what is really happening while the animals are escaping. Also chaos theory as to do with the downfall because since the animals are escaping they go into the peaceful world and create confusion by injuring people who had nothing to do with the experiment. The new and old versions of dinosaurs are getting smarter and it affects the island because they know how to attack the humans. As a result, Crichton revels the characters completely to his reader to show that the chaos theory is happening little by little to create chaos in the island. Therefore, extinct animals that are armful cause deadly injuries by the creation of genetic engineering since the scientist who created them do not know what they are working with. One wonders whether scientists are unable to predict the control of living organisms throughout humanity.
