Let us first of all consider
ways to praise Gld.
Our goal: to live a life of praise; make it our daily existence; be
the generation described in Psalm 102:18-21--those who are created to
praise the Lord. But we must understand His desires for our praise
for true biblical worship to be present in our churches and our lives.
When we bcome convinced that we are to praise God then we need to
start looking at the Bible to find out how to praise God for the
Bible is the guide for our lives. Worship creates the atmosphere for
His presence. He fills our praise Thou art Holy, who inhabits the
praises of Israel@ Ps 22:3.
22:3
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
2. He comes as the rain@ Hos 6:3.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth
is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as
the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Job 36:27-28
For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according
to the vapour thereof:
36:28
Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
This is a clear picture of what our praise does. It describes the
water cycle, an illustration for praise leading to the anointing. It
rains (God=s presence) according to the amount of vapor (praise) that
rises--If the clouds be full, they will pour forth rain@ Eccl 11:3.
11:3
If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth:
and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the
place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
Rain (God's presence) brings forth harvest/fruit--abundant...
Sorry...
...but this is really just an amalgamation of quotes without any sense of cohesion whatsoever. I understand that this is a philosophical outpouring, however I still think it could have been far more powerful with the use of more structure.
Rather than asking a series of rhetorical questions at the end of your essay, you could have addressed them more intermittently throughout the body of the essay and provided some of the many quotes that you found to help guide the reader further.
