Obesity - the condition of being obese; increased body weight caused by excessive accumulation of fat.

In today's modern world, everyone is conscious with his or her looks. Everybody needs to be perfect not for themselves but for the people around them. We want to hear good things from them especially when it comes to their body.

One big problem when it comes to physical condition is being fat. Fat people do not deserve much attention, and full respect from others. When you are fat, you are ignored, cheated and must be ashamed with your situation.

Because of these, obesity becomes a problem in our country. Different arguments are coming to our way when we say obesity. Even doctors have different arguments about this problem. Greg Crister, writer of "Too much of a Good Thing" said that being fat is a problem. It is a risk of life that we should avoid especially during childhood.

He also said that we must control our children to eat so much for them not to lose so much weight that they cannot have any solutions to it. We should not ignore our being fat, we should always be aware when it comes to our body, we must do some ways to remove our excess fat to prevent obesity.

However, based on Mary Worley, writer of "Fat and Happy: In Defense of Fat Acceptance" tells that we should not hate fat people. Regarding this issue, she went into a convention of fat people where she met so many different fat people who are happy and contented with their conditions.
