The great depression was a main reason for Hitler coming to power but it wasn't the full reason for it, other reasons that were in favour of Hitler were events such as Hitler's personality and propaganda.

If Hitler was doing something that everyone wanted then he is going to become popular. Hitler promised bread and work and because no one had any money or shelter people wanted this, this was all the plan of Hitler.
