File Sharing in the United States

Let's take a trip to cyber space and learn the basics of downloading music files or as everybody else calls it, "file swapping". Today's big supplier of peer to peer music files is KaZaA. KaZaA is a peer to peer based to site, meaning that people have bought CD's and uploaded them to their PC; they copied the songs they paid for onto their computer, and made it available for others to copy onto their computers for free. KaZaA and Napster are two of the most popular websites for downloading free music. Since Napster, most popular of the two, was shut down due to illegally downloading and uploading copy written material, KaZaA has almost tripled in its number of users (file swappers). This sit has every type of music category and just about any artist and song you are looking for. The only thing you have to do is type in what you are looking for.

The only thing you have to do is type in what you are looking for in the search box and click- go. All of a sudden, you will have hundreds of songs and artists listed on your screen. Locate which one it is that you want and double click on it, and just like that, you are downloading your first music file. Obviously, if you needed me to explain what and how to download, then you are probably like over fifty percent of Americans that just like you don't know downloading any kind of music files is illegal.
