Expression of religion is a problem in today's American Government. In a nation that prohibits government from expressing religion, or public displays of statues and words such as the Ten Commandments and Moses, Christians, Jews, Atheist, etc. believe that it's a violation of the Constitution. The Supreme Court is now in the process of hearing two cases that see whether displays of the Ten Commandments on public property are unconstitutional under the First Amendment, ( congress shall make no laws respecting an establishing of religion, or prohibiting free exercise thereof). This Amendment clearly restricts The Federal Government and not the states.
Texas and Kentucky are certain examples of cases that have been brought to the attention of the Supreme Court. In the Texas case, a U.S. appeals court ruled that a granite monument brought forth in 1961 in Austin wouldn't have to be taken down because it depicts a part in American history.

English: 14th Amendment of the United States Const...However after the Kentucky case courts ruled it unconstitutional and forced McCreary and Pulaski counties to remove framed copies of the Ten Commandments even though they were put on display, along with the Declaration of Independence and the Magna Carta. Some other issues are being brought to the attention of the Supreme Court, like coined money which has "In God We Trust" which has been going on for a long time now and until now has been brought forth by people who find it offensive. If a person was given a million dollars, I do not think that that person would even care about neither what that green bill said nor what type of religion they are because money is what drives people to succeed.
