Have you Ever seen the movie Clueless? In the opening sequence it shows how Cher (the main character) has tons of clothes and make up. Not just thatâ¦but very item is organized on a computer and neat and clean. This scene is a great example of women in the modern US. Stereotypes of women being ditzy, more organized, and emotional are true.
Some good examples of women being ditzy are in movies. The movie Legally Blonde shows that this girl does not have a clue. Speaking of clues, Clueless shows how these "Valley-girls" just care about money, shopping, and boysâ¦not getting jobs, or anything "useful". Make up commercials also show women are ditzy. I don't know of any guys that will go out and spend hundreds of dollars a year on making themselves look "pretty" just to stay at home.
Organization and women go hand in hand. Women are always the one that have their kitchens all organized with a cupboard for plates, one for cups, one for silverware and so onâ¦.
Then you go into a man's garageâ¦. BIG-difference. In the garage there are piles and piles or tools and scrap parts lying aroundâ¦not organized at all. For example, at my mother's office, she has filing cabinets and folders for all her papers grouped into different categories, where on the other hand, my dad's office "looks like a bomb exploded". He has piles of papers, nothing in order, not even "categorized piles". Have you ever noticed that you never see a Tupperware commercial with men asking how much it holds, or how big they are, in the movie "House Arrest", the children's mother is an organizing freak. She puts labels on the lunch sandwiches, labels on the cupboards, even a label on the labelerâ¦come on nowâ¦that's just pathetic.
