Can you imagine a warm Canadian Arctic summer without ice and without Polar Bears? Global Warming is a very well known topic which is now being seriously discussed all over the world. A possibility in our lifetime because Global warming is effecting the Canadian Arctic in three significant ways. Frist, Global Warming is increasing the average temperature in the Canadian Arctic at an increasing rate.

Secondly, Global Warming has caused a significant decline in the level of ice in the Canadian Arctic. Finally, Global Warming is negatively effecting the lives of Polar Bears so much so that these bears may eventually become extinct in the Canadian Arctic.

Global warming brings a great increase in average temperature in the Canadian Arctic where is the region that has the most effect. According to the record, the temperature of the Canadian Eastern Arctic and sub-Arctic regions have averaged three degrees above normal this year. In the other words, the temperature has risen three to five times faster than in the rest of Canada.
