Global Warming: A myth or a deadly catastrophe?

Introduction

Global Warming, is it a myth or is it a deadly catastrophe? It has been a debate and a controversy over a decade on whether or not this is true. While there are significant joining of hands that want to save our planet, there's always people out there that refuse to believe or just want to ignore the problem. Our former vice president Al Gore, target this ridicule when he wishes this subject of matter were only just an illusion (Koch, 2010). Unfortunately, its dangers are very real despite the effort of our United Nation to put a change to it. Al Gore addresses this when he wrote in The New York Times:

"I, for one, genuinely wish that the climate crisis were an illusion…In fact, the crisis is still growing because we are continuing to dump 90 million tons of global-warming pollution every 24 hours into the atmosphere - as if it were an open sewer."

According to National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA), global warming simply defined as an increase of average temperature on Earth surface. Some might think global warming is simple as it is defined the effects on the planet and species living among it is worse than one might think. It would create many helpless catastrophes that would leave scars on the planet or an end to life, as we know it. While people are focusing more on Britney Spear or Justin Beiber, many species are going extinct every day.
