GoalsGoals are marks that people set for themselves to achieve within a given time period. People set goals so that they will accomplish things that they want to in the future. I believe everyone should set goals for themselves to help them succeed at the thing or things they set out for.
There are many types of goals that people make for themselves so they achieve something. The two most popular types are long-term goals and short-term goals. Long-term goals are set by people who wish to accomplish something in the far future such as become a professional athlete or a fireman. These are set to make you work as hard as you can to achieve whatever goal you have set. On the other hand, short-term goals are goals set for the immediate future. People set these types of goals for things that wish to accomplish in a month, week, or day.
Most short-term goals include getting a good grade on a test or even winning a football or baseball game. Making short and long-term goals is one of the best things that you can do for yourself.
Some of the long-term goals I have set out to do for myself include getting good grades in school, having a successful football career in Ambridge and possibly college, going to college, and eventually getting a good job, wife, and children. On the other hand, a few short-term goals that I have include getting an A on all the tests that I take within this week and being nice to people and fellow classmates. These are some of the goals that I set for myself to help me get through life a little easier.
