Harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban Setting: The story takes place in a wizardry school named Hogwarts, which is located in London; they mention this numerous times throughout the story. The time is the present. Harry potter, the main character, is in his third year of high school with his two friends Hermione Granger and Ron Wheasley. We know this because on the side cover of the series of Harry potter books it says the year he is in. in this case year three.

Plot / Summary: Harry Potter is a young boy at the age of thirteen. He is under very high security because a mass murderer, Sirius Black, has escaped from Azkaban (a wizard prison) and is supposedly out to murder young Harry potter for killing his evil leader, Voldemort, as a child. His friend Hermione, a model student, has been asked to take many extra courses this year that third years could not take.

Harry and Ron have tried throughout the year to figure out how she had never missed a course when many of them fell at the exact same time. A new teacher professor Lupin, which is all the students' favorite teacher, is teaching defense against dark arts for his first year. One day Ron chases his pet scabbers into the forest and is lead to a violently dangerous tree that swings its branches at you. As they fight for their lives a big black dog appears and grabs Ron into a whole at the tree's roots. Harry and Hermione followed him through a passage and into a haunted house. The dog turns into Black and tries to kill Ron's rat. A few minutes later Lupin shows up and explains that Black is not the bad guy and that the rat is actually a...
