The Haunting of Hill House is written by Shirley Jackson it's a story about for people that think their going in to do testings but they have no idea what their in for.

There are four people that come in for these so called testings. Theodora; his lovely and lighthearted assistant; Eleanor, a lonely, homeless girl well aquanted with poltergeists; and luke , the adventourous future heir of Hill House, at first there stay seemed quite and peaceful but ends up like no other.

Hill House was sure as hell haunted. But what they didn't know was that the ghosts were after one person Eleanor. Her family ancestors were involed in the hill house about 100 years ago and now they want her to be involved. Eleanor couoldnt take it so and luke escaped and went there separate ways.

When Eleanor got to her town she told everyone about the haunted house people thought she was crazy so she got sent to an insanasilom.

When luke herd about what happen to Eleanor he went to see her. They ended up escaping and they ran off together and that was the end of the story;.

I didn't like the end of the story at all it made no sence. The book could have been good if it had a good ending. To my opinion I wouldn't recomed the book to anybody.
