Adolph Hitler was a German political and military leader. He was one of the twentieth century's most powerful dictators. Hitler changed Germany into a fully militarized society and provoked World War ²² in 1939. He made anti-Semitism a major part of his propaganda and policies. He built the Nazi Party into a mass movement. His goal was to conquer the entire world, and for a while he dominated most of Europe and much of North Africa. He caused the murder of millions of Jews, Sinti, and Roma (Gypsies), Slavic people, and many others who he considered to be inferior.

I chose Adolph Hitler because he was a leader of his time, and promoted his evil ideologies on to others. His ideologies were immoral and unreal. I think he wanted to become a leader, but had no reason to lead so he came up with this ridiculous ideology. Hitler was a funny looking-man.

At five feet nine inches tall, with wide hips, short legs, a comb-over hairstyle, and a Charlie Chaplin toothbrush mustache, he looked more like a comic figure, than a man who had supreme authority over the lives of millions.

Adolph Hitler is a leader because he had a vision, followers, and the right persona. Hitler's vision was to create a world of anti-Semitism and eliminate everyone whom were different from him. His main goal was to conquer the world. His personality was horrible. His overpowering personality, furious rages, and unending quirks drove people away. Not to forget his stiff, unyielding persona.

He enjoyed playing evil practical jokes. Hitler would pretend that he was angry with one of his subordinates just to see their frightened reaction. In other words, he used his power as a form of amusement for himself. He was also very arrogant. When he made fatal decisions, during the war, he rejected those that pointed out his flaws in his maneuvers and refused to change his mind. He would ultimately lead himself to destruction. His followers were more scared of him then they respected him. They weren't told why they should obey, they were just told to obey. If they didn't, they would be considered to be an enemy. Therefore, they would be punished. His soldiers didn't even know themselves what they were really getting into. Although, they were joining voluntarily, they would be under pressure to join. There was no employment and it showed that they might be against Hitler. Majority of these soldiers was teenagers who knew nothing about politics. Hitler was leader because of his power and personality.

Hitler changed society because he had spread death as no person has done in modern history. "Have no pity! Act brutally! He told his soldiers. He ordered tens of thousands of those who opposed him to be executes, and hundreds of thousands to be thrown into prison. Hitler prosecuted mostly Jews; he ordered them to be removed and killed in countries he controlled.
