The country that we've slected is Honduras. The capital is Tegucigalpa. Some major languages that are spoken are Spanish and English. Honduras is located on the continent of Central America.
Honduras was founded on September 15, 1821. Rocsi Diaz, Anita Leeman, Luis Moncado, and Belgica Suarez are few of many celebrities from the country Hondura. In regards to the independence from Spain. Honduras was not a sovereign nation. It joined the Mexican Empire along with Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica. However, that didn't last long. Therefore, the five republics, joined together, and became one whole country( like the U.S) but then it failed, Honduras became Sovereign in November of 1838, and was the first to leave the Federal Republic of Central America. Which resulted, in Honduras becoming an independent country.
Some of the major landforms found in Honduras include the large interior plateau of hills and mountains, the Pacific lowlands and the Caribbean Lowlands.
