TradeStation Group, Inc. is a trading software company, which operates through two operating subsidiaries: their online broker- dealer, TradeStation Securities, Inc., and TradeStation Technologies, Inc., a trading technology company. The core product/service is offered by TradeStation Securities (TradeStation) an electronic trading platform that enables traders to test and automate rule-based trading strategies (both technical and fundamental) across multiple asset classes, including equities, equity and index options, futures and foreign currencies (forex). TradeStation Group prides itself on the effectiveness of their Human Resource Department which, ensures that the company abides by all EEOC regulations. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 is divided into several sections, or titles, each dealing with a particular facet of discrimination (Cascio, 2003). Title VII is the most important federal EEO law because it contains the broadest coverage, prohibitions, and remedies (Cascio, 2003).

Title VII is most relevant to the employment context, for it prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in all aspects of employment (Cascio, 2003). The Human Resources department manages this part of the Civil Right Act by regularly communicating to all applicants as well as internal lateral moves as well as promotions granted. All applications specifically state the facts that we prohibit any type of discrimination. While TradeStation always looks for the most qualified applicant for any position they have available they will eliminate an applicant because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
