A comparative Analysis of the planck telescope and hubble space telescopes.

This Essay is an analysis of each space telescope; competitively distinguishing how data is collected, the orbital mechanics of each craft and the contributions to our understanding of the universe. This essay takes the position that the Hubble space telescope is better than the Planck through superior type, orbital aspects and over-all discoveries significance in establishing an understanding of the Cosmos.

Introduction

Telescopes are the primary method of exploring the heavens; allowing researchers and scientists to get a better understanding of the universe through the interpretation of electromagnetic waves at a variation of frequencies. There are two types of telescopes: Optical and radio; each of which focus on different frequencies of the wave spectrum each with the benefits that the other cannot.

Planck space radio telescope is a mission dedicated to imaging the anisotropies of the Cosmic Background Radiation - also refereed to as the relic radiation: once interpreted allows for determining the universes age and supportive evidence of the big Bang theory.

The Hubble space optical telescope is a versatile observatory that takes high resolution images of the cosmos - Most notable recognized for deep field galaxy images seeing planetary objects in deep space as they were close to the beginning of the universe.

This essay will consist of a comparative analysis of 'The Hubble space telescope' and 'The Planck telescope'; establishing, comparing and contrasting each's aspects and performance relative to three central positions:

1.Electromagnetic spectrum analysis - fundamental concepts of frequency/waves and design of each craft is discussed.

2.Orbital mechanics - How the concept of orbital patterns and electrical response times effect each crafts performance.

3. Comparison of each Crafts contribution to the modern...
