Individual Strengths and Problem Solving Techniques
A group consists of three or more individuals working together to achieve a common goal. A key learning tool, group interaction, is an essential component of the learning process for University of Phoenix in both in-class and online studies. Assignment of online learning teams is often the responsibility of the class facilitator based primarily on time zones in which the students reside. Members bring to the team a variety of strengths and skills that contribute to the success of the team. However, with strength and skills, some members bear weakness or attributes that hinders the progress of the team. The diversity of skills, weakness, attributes, and strengths each member brings to the team may often create problems that appear overwhelming. The purpose of this paper is to identify my individual strengths and problem-solving skills as they apply to the group process and decision making.

Group Setting
PSY/430 Team Dynamics for Managers Learning Team A is the setting of the group in which I am currently working. The learning team is made up of six members, three male and three female, from across the United States with a variety of distinctive backgrounds and occupations. Of the 13 teams I have worked within online classes, this team ranks high on the list of most pleasurable and cooperative teams. Each member of the team brings with him or her unique skills and strengths that promotes a positive environment in which the team functions.
