Social Issues with social networks

Ironically social sites lead us to self-justification and appraising personalities which are anti-social. Share concepts but not sell yourself. Eloquence, digital self-image building distorts our own surrealistic ideology and thoughts. Our social site panopticon needs to be disrupted and shattered. Social Networks lacks personal touch, share NO real feelings, boring and repetitive content, making people feel bad in uneven societies, most of all it creates a virtual image of yours which is not real.

Lack of personal touch: - "Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow" NOT a true statement in social networks. Share your joy and you get likes, share your sorrows you get more likes. Number of people wished in my social media pages for my wedding Anniversary may be more than those who attended the marriage, but only a couple of my friends called me over phone on my Anniversary made me feel it's real.

Wishing in Social Media is merely a notification that people are watching our social media page rather than a real wish. When we celebrate, achieve or we remorse we really need personal share of our feeling. Emotional support can only be given by real care, spoken words and spending time.

We just move on without sharing true feelings. - My classmate's father expired and I posted my condolences in his page. We use Social network as an opportunity to convey our emotions and wash the guilt but denying to participate in healing process. If a few of us had personally shared his feelings of losing his father and really participated in his life and given him emotional support my friend would NOT have followed his dad.
