Key Environmental Legislation

There are many aspects of the environment that federal agencies take into consideration while they keep key aspects in tighter focus. Key areas include air quality, energy, land use and conservation, noise control, pesticides, solid waste management, toxic substances, water quality, wildlife conservation and other general environmental legislation. In this paper our findings reveal that some key areas are even more important than others. Examples would be land use and conservation, air quality, solid waste management and water quality. These areas require a lot more attention for more reasons than one. Water and air quality affect health and public well being on the other hand solid waste management legislation is more of a balancing act between economic and environmental factors. Future research would most likely go more in depth about the process behind getting these laws passed and what is necessary to enforce them.

Since the beginning of the 20th century there have been numerous acts instituted to preserve the environment that we live in.

Key areas include air quality, energy, land use and conservation, noise control, pesticides, solid waste management, toxic substances, water quality, wildlife conservation and other general environmental legislation.
