To Kill A mockingbird There is may great significance in the title to kill a mocking bird. Why kill something that has not sinned. All it does is makes beautiful music for all to hear, It hasn?t even hurt anyone. In the book the mockingbird itself has meaning to it, I believe the mocking bird is to Tom Robinson as Bob Ewell is to the devil. Tom never hurt any one the killed a man just for being black. This is because Bob Ewell was a racist and the whole courtroom was white. Bob Ewell even made his own daughter lie to a courtroom (his own daughter). This is why one should never kill a mockingbird all it does is try and please you with its song of peace.
